I received a text at 9:47 P.M. that stated: "Need some quick cash? You can easily get $1200 wired into your bank account today! For info. just reply back the word "PAY". (to cancel: reply STOP)" I would like to know how these people obtain my number in the first place!

Here's the deal with this number. I have gotten about ten calls from it in the last week. Every time I awnsered them no one was on the other line. Today I awnsered it and there was actually someone on the line saying they were informed I was looking for colleges. Obviously the line they use is like a mass dialer and who ever the lucky one to pick up first gets to talk to the rep and inform them their not interested, this will have your number removed.

he keeps calling and asking for me then caughs and hangs up. He needs to get a life and stop calling my phone....If seems when people need help they can't get it. I also got in some trouble behind a craiglist job post. It was for a warehouse worker and he relied back to me. He sent me a check for my work. Come to find out it was fake. Now i owe the bank over 2,000. I filed a report but the cops told me there was nothing they could do. They know how to get on peoples nerve but when the people in their community need them they can't do shit. thats why i dont look to the cops for nothing.

Paula, do not worry about this phone call regarding the threats of being picked up and taken to jail. He is nothing more than a scam artist. I called my local sheriff's dept, bank, court house, and they all said to ignore these calls. Tell "Steven" that you've reported him and the phone number he's calling from, to the authorities. He'll stop calling. He's NOT from the BCI or any other governmental agency. He'll get caught, it's just a matter of time.

There was a message on my answering machine from this number saying my name. When I called it back, I got the Louisville Bar Association.
